Much like the workout itself, sports nutrition has an importance of its own. Healthy hydration is a critical factor in that. Many athletes, aiming for better fitness and health are majorly inhibited due to dehydration. The major reason, for the call of a balanced blend of natural supplements in the form of electrolytes, vitamins, amino acids and minerals, both, before, during and after workouts. However, many of them are mistaken for undertaking beverages containing sugar and caffeine as a compensation, but it has just the opposite effect on athletic performance. Not only this, even mild dehydration can cause severe impact in forms of either fatigue, headache, failure to focus, cramping and heat exhaustion.

Thus to sum it all, healthy hydration is the only way out to make your health and performance better.

A doctor’s appointment this afternoon confirmed that the knee is only strained, no tears inside, so Josh will do some therapy and continue his preparations for the 4th round of the series at the Big Buck GNCC in Union, SC, Sunday, April 21st.

In addition to overall event support, Audi plans to offer exclusive VIP parking for the first 20 racers who arrive driving an Audi vehicle.  HDX Hydration Mix will offer a hydration station for all racers and fans.  The Audi/Felt/HDX cycling team will also be participating in all the races and offering skills clinics to racers of all levels.
