Unfortunately no magic pill that will make all the symptoms of a hangover go away but we have some tips to help you to recover.
We all like to have fun every now and then and there's nothing wrong with that. And as the saying goes "a hangover is a sign that you had a good time last night!" But it's usually at the point of waking up that we feel the effects of our "good time". As we try and make sense of our scrambled thoughts, we may even ask ourselves, "why did I take that shot of tequila?" or "how do I get rid of this hangover?"
Now we hate to have to tell you this but there's no such thing as a hangover cure. No anti-hangover drink, morning after hangover recovery shot or $100 IV Hydration will cure your hangover.
It's also important to know that the severity of a hangover will depend largely on how much alcohol was consumed and if you managed to get enough sleep. The less sleep the worse the hangover.
However, in the vast majority of cases, hangovers go away after about 24 hours. But when time is money, we can't wait and to find a solution!
So here are a few things you can do to speed up your recovery without blowing lots of money on something gimmicky.
Getting Through Your Hangover
- Water is critical, but at this point in your hangover, it's all about rehydrating and replenishing essential minerals and nutrients to get your body back in tune and functioning.
- Eat bland foods, such as crackers or bread, which are easy on the stomach.
- If you can manage to get back to sleep, you will aide in your recovery much faster.
This is about all you can do to get through your hangover.
Oh and one last tip! Do not go for a "Hair of the Dog" or a Bloody Mary! This is a myth, and will only drag out your hangover!
